Sausage stew and sweet potato

Hooray, a recipe, a real recipe!
Karl made a fabulous (and blindingly spicy) sausage stew this evening. It’s a Jamie Oliver recipe, although with only one red pepper as opposed to the traffic light of three that JO suggests. Karl used one scotch bonnet pepper and one red chilli in this, which is why I spent most of the meal hiccupping. Of course, you can vary the spice and it’ll still taste fab. Personally, I would use one red chilli at the very least (deseeded if you must!).

It was served up with roasted sweet potato. This was coated in oil, ground cumin and salt, wrapped in foil, and popped onto the middle shelf of the oven for 45-60 minutes (or basically until cooked through).
